Network Security Architect
Role
Taking the lead in creating technical high level network designs.
Support the pre-sales team when a network proposal and kitlist needs to be drawn up.
As a network architect, you have an advisory role in complex changes or incidents.
Providing technical advice to customers to solve various network and security issues.
Analysis of business needs and requirements in order to arrive at a technical network solution.
You are the technical contact person responsible for negotiations with our customers (internal and external) and you offer them the necessary support. You are also responsible for the necessary transfer to management.
Maintaining and defining the standards/protocols used within the network.
Proactively contribute to the continuous improvement of our (shared) network services.
Maintaining documentation and sharing knowledge with colleagues within the Network & Security team.
Participate in the implementation of our generic security policy within network environments.
Shaping our public and private cloud developments.
Installation and configuration of network components are not part of this function.
Skills/Experience
Minimum of 5-10 years of experience in a network-related position.
You have a Bachelor's or Master's degree in an IT-related program.
Knowledge of typical multi-tier architectures is available.
You have extensive knowledge of network and security solutions from Cisco, Fortinet, Palo Alto, in addition, terms such as software defined networking (SDN), SD-WAN and IaaS do not scare you.
You have experience with load balancing and wireless
Smooth communication and able to prioritize
You are a team player, flexible and you like a challenge
Ownership and discipline
You have a great love for the public cloud. Terms such as PaaS, Expressroute, VPN gateway and virtual WAN are not unfamiliar to you
