Hamilton Barnes are thrilled to present an exciting opening for an AWS Data Engineer working with a large scale consultancy on a huge transformation project.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Extensive experience in developing Bigdata pipelines in cloud using Bigdata technologies such as Apache Spark.
  • Expertise in performing complex data transformation using Spark SQL queries.
  • Experience in orchestrating data pipelines using Apache Airflow.
  • Working experience in AWS Bigdata services (EMR, Glue, Data Pipelines, Athena, S3, Step Functions etc) & AWS CLI
  • Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins.
  • Knowledge of Data Warehousing concepts.
  • Experience with process automation using Python.
  • Container technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.

Contract Details:

  • Duration: 6 months (View to Extension)
  • Day Rate: Up to £450 Per Day Inside IR35
  • Location: Hybrid - London OR Leeds - 2/3 days a week
  • Start Date: Immediately.
