GPI Business Development staff, technical staff, and project managers and collaborate with the entire marketing team. The ideal candidate would have a minimum of 5 years of marketing experience in the Engineering industry, with relevant experience preparing proposal responses for professional services solicitations. The candidate will be enthusiastic, driven, and intrinsically motivated, able to see a proposal/marketing project from start to finish. Strong writing skills and attention to detail are desired. Responsibilities:Proposal Management: - RFP/RFQ Analysis: Review Requests for Proposals (RFPs) and Requests for Qualifications (RFQs) to identify requirements, evaluation criteria, and key deliverables.
- Manage the overall proposal process, including coordination with the Proposal Coordinator, teaming partners, sub-consultants, and other GPI offices. Work closely with engineering teams to understand project scopes and technical requirements and organize and manage proposal teams.
- Proposal Writing: Coordinate and contribute to the writing of proposals, ensuring clarity and compliance.
- Quality Control/Quality Assurance reviews of all proposals prior to submission to ensure adherence to proposal guidelines and expectations.
- Proposal Review and Submission: Oversee the final review process, ensuring accuracy and completeness before submission. Handle the submission process to meet deadlines.
- Manage the development and maintenance of staff resumes, project profiles, company profiles, service sheets, and other proposal/qualifications materials in conjunction with the proposal process.
- Presentation Design: Includes PowerPoint presentations, timelines, org charts, and other presentations.
- Go/No-Go Decision Making: Track proposal efforts and participate in discussions to determine whether to pursue specific projects based on the firm's capabilities, workload, and strategic goals.
Marketing:- The Marketing Manager will collaborate on marketing and proposal efforts, track current & targeted pursuits, and track business development activities within Deltek VantagePoint.
- Digital Marketing: Manage online presence, including the firm's website, social media channels, and email marketing campaigns.
- Manage multiple marketing activities simultaneously in an effective and efficient manner under tight deadlines.
- Assist with regional business development efforts, including targeted pursuit research and client and competitor research for local, municipal, state, and federal projects.
- Marketing Materials: Develop marketing materials, including brochures, newsletters, and website content that highlights the firm's expertise and past projects.
- Brand Management: Ensure consistency in branding across all marketing materials and communications.
- Networking: Attend industry conferences, trade shows, and professional association events to represent the firm and build industry connections.
- Professional Development: Stay updated on industry trends, marketing best practices, and new proposal management tools.
Qualifications: - Preferred five or more years of relevant AE firm marketing/proposal experience.
- Experience in developing and generating and reviewing proposal/qualification submissions for AEC firms.
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, English, Communications, Journalism, or related area preferred.
- Proficient in the Microsoft Office Suite and the Adobe Creative Suite, specifically with InDesign.
- Experience in graphic design to visually enhance proposals, presentations, and marketing collateral materials, including social media.
- A flexible attitude and the ability to manage multiple projects are required.
- Must be calm under deadline pressure.
- Must have excellent attention to detail.
- Strong writing, proofreading, and editing skills along with excellent time management and organizational abilities.
- Must be self-motivated.
- Able to work both independently and within a team collaborative environment.
- Experience with Deltek Vision/VantagePoint is a plus.
Requirements MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS: - Read, write, and understand plans and directions given in the English language
- Basic computer skills with the ability to create and edit Microsoft Word and Excel documents, create Outlook emails and utilize SharePoint and Microsoft Teams to communicate with other team members
