ABOUT THE POSITION
The UX/UI Developer is responsible for designing and implementing user experiences across the credit union's digital channels. This role collaborates closely with the Digital Development Manager and Marketing teams to create solutions that enhance usability, functionality, and visual appeal. The ideal candidate will combine strong design skills with Front End development expertise to deliver innovative solutions that meet user needs and align with our brand standards.
NORMAL DAY-TO-DAY WORK
- Produce high-quality UX design solutions through wireframes, visual designs, flow diagrams, storyboards, site maps, and interactive prototypes.
- Design and build responsive email templates that reflect brand guidelines and best practices in user experience.
- Research, design, and test UI elements and tools for our digital assets.
- Collaborate with Digital Experience team, Marketing leadership, and product team subject matter experts to ensure the creation and delivery of tailored experiences for the end user.
- Implement designs using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and other Front End technologies, ensuring responsive and mobile-first design principles are followed.
- Conceptualize and communicate UX/UI design ideas to stakeholders of all levels within the organization.
- Provides guidance on the implementation of UX research methodologies in order to analyze and predict user behavior.
- Adhere to established brand guidelines, best practices, and design standards.
- Take ownership for actions, decisions, and results; openly accept feedback and demonstrate both the willingness and ability to improve.
JOB QUALIFICATIONS
Here are a few skills you MUST have to be qualified for this position.
- Minimum 4 - 6 years of UX/UI, digital design, or Front End development experience
- Excellent design skills with a solid grasp of UX design best practices and a deep understanding of mobile-first and responsive design.
- Experience with user interface design patterns and standard UCD methodologies across multiple platforms.
- Proficiency in web programming languages such as HTML, CSS, JQuery, and JavaScript. Familiarity with content management systems, especially Drupal, is a plus.
- Experience designing and building responsive email templates. Salesforce Content Builder for creating and managing email content is a plus.
- Ability to function in a Consumer business office environment and utilize standard office equipment including but not limited to: PC, copier, telephone, etc.
- Ability to lift a minimum of 25 lbs. (file boxes, computer).
- Travel required on occasion.

- BA/BS degree in Marketing, Business, or related field preferred.
- Knowledge of common visual design tools such as Figma, Invision, and others.
