Job Summary and Qualifications

Our Imaging Teams are a committed, caring group of colleagues. We are seeking an Vascular Tech. As our new Vascular Technologist or Sonographer, you will conduct and document vascular assessments on patients as ordered. You will work closely with the Medical Director for Cardiovascular Services. You will perform procedures in a careful, compassionate and respectful manner. We prioritize patient care. Your tasks and responsibilities may include:

  • The Vascular Technologist is responsible for producing quality, diagnostic radiographs for Radiologist interpretation.
  • Demonstrates concern and empathy while performing procedures in a careful, compassionate and respectful manner.
  • Prepares and positions patients and equipment is a safe manner in accordance with established operating procedures.
  • Maintains proactive, effective communication with patient and physicians regarding any findings, patient histories and test results as appropriate.
  • Collaborates and confers with all colleagues and members of the healthcare team.
What qualifications you will need:
  • Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
  • High School Graduate/GED
  • Diagnostic Medical Sonographer, or Registered Cardiac Sonographer, or Registered Vascular Technician (RVT)
