The Impact You'll Make in this Role
As an Advanced Senior Software Developer and Architect, you will have the opportunity to tap into your curiosity and collaborate with some of the most innovative and diverse people around the world. Here, you will make an impact by:
- Design and architecture of world class cloud-based enterprise software solutions
- Working on the team's software development efforts and interfacing with other teams to create and implement these software solutions
- Utilize pipeline technologies to deploy software throughout the world
- Creating and coding new approaches to increase quality, efficiency, and resilience in existing and new software applications
- Supporting our customers to achieve their goals using our software services
Your Skills and Expertise
To set you up for success in this role from day one, Solventum requires (at a minimum) the following qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree or higher from an accredited university AND 5 years of Java/J2EE development
OR
- High School Diploma/GED AND 9 years of Java/J2EE development
AND
In addition to the above requirements, the following are also required:
- Experience in architecture and design of enterprise level, high volume, hosted applications in a cloud environment
- Development and support experience with enterprise applications hosted in a cloud environment
- Experience with using SQL and NoSQL databases in design, development, and implementation
- Experience using Kubernetes for deploying applications
Additional qualifications that could help you succeed even further in this role include:
- Healthcare industry experience and familiarity with common HL7 and X12 based transactions
- Experience with development tools such as IntelliJ, JIRA, and Git
- Experience with Kafka, Kubernetes and the AWS cloud environment
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment
- Ability to lead and provide guidance to others
- Ability to effectively communicate ideas, concepts and information on both user and technical level

Applicable to US Applicants Only:The expected compensation range for this position is $137,439 - $167,981, which includes base pay plus variable incentive pay, if eligible. This range represents a good faith estimate for this position.
