Production Manager

My Client, a leading Electronic Products Manufacturer, is seeking an experienced Production Manager to lead the manufacturing facility. You will be responsible for daily operations, managing production schedules, and optimizing workflows across production, testing, and finished goods departments.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide strategic leadership and resource planning for the Production team.
• Formulate lead times based on material availability and engineering orders.
• Drive continuous improvements in productivity, safety, and quality.
• Implement LEAN initiatives to enhance operational efficiency.
• Process & procedure review and enhancement across the department
• Manage department Metrics (KPI's)- maintain & development of key metrics CONC, CRSD, CPSD, Cost Out, Inventory, DOH, Efficiency, Productivity, OPQL etc.
• Maintain compliance with ISO 9001/14001 standards and EHS performance.
• Oversee staff development through effective training and succession planning.
• Act as a key communicator in Tier 1/Tier 2 meetings, ensuring clear departmental alignment.
• To own departmental and assist site wide company initiatives in EQS, ELSS, ISO14001, MESH, OpA etc.

Qualifications:

• Proficient in MRP systems (MARPACS/SAP) and skilled in production processes.
• Green/Black belt certification with experience in LEAN methodologies.
• Strong analytical skills with expertise in problem-solving tools (8D, A3, 4UP's etc).
• Experience of LEAN techniques (including JIT, Kaizen, Kan Ban, etc.)
• Exceptional communication and team leadership abilities.
• Proven track record in process development and operational excellence.
