Job Title: EARLY CAREER TEACHER (ECT) - SECONDARY

Location: Washington

Salary: £125 to £155 per day

Responsibilities of the Early Career Teacher (ECT) - Secondary:

• Deliver engaging and innovative lessons across various subjects.
• Assist in managing and reducing challenging behaviours with patience and effective strategies.
• Collaborate with teachers to implement tailored learning plans based on individual student s needs.
• Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback.
• Maintain strong communication with staff, parents and external professionals.
• Foster a positive learning environment that encourages student participation and growth.

Requirements of the Early Career Teacher (ECT) - Secondary:

• A valid teaching qualification and ECT status.
• Strong communication and classroom management skills.
• Excellent communication skills to engage with students and staff.
• Enthusiasm for teaching and a willingness to learn and grow within the role.
• Have an updated CV (covering the last ten years barring any unexplained gaps) and an enhanced DBS registered to the update service (or be willing to apply for one).
