EYFS Teaching Assistant

ABC Teachers are currently looking for Early Years Foundation Stage Teaching Assistants based in the Shrewsbury area to work on a full time or part time basis in primary schools in their local area.

The role
This role will include:

• Working hours from 08:30-15:30.
• Working closely with the Teacher in the Early Years of the primary school to support the learning and activities in the lessons.
• To start from November and continue for the remainder of the autumn term.

The school
This will be based at a one-form entry primary school based in the Telford area with a dedicated EYFS unit to support pupils from ages 3-4 years old.

Requirements
To be considered for the EYFS Teaching Assistant position, you will:

• Be willing and passionate about working in a childcare setting of a primary school.
• Must have previous experience with the Early Years Foundation Stage framework.
• Ideally have a Level 2 or 3 childcare qualification.
• Be able to commute around the Shrewsbury area.
• Be able to gain references from relevant roles from the last 2 years.
• Be able to obtain a DBS registered to the update service.
