Leading international Pharmaceutical Manufacturer seeks an experienced Laboratory Technician to assist in the creation of life-saving drugs.
About the role:
As a Laboratory Technician, you would be responsible for monitoring the compounding centre in line with GMP.
This role will be 37.5 per hours a week Monday-Friday, 7:00am - 3:00pm alternating with 3pm - 11pm on a weekly basis and it will be based in Runcorn.

Duties may include but are not limited to:
- Carrying out culture-based microbiological analysis of samples to support the sterility assurance of products
- Identifying microbiological isolates and conducting sterility testing of compounded products
- Authoring laboratory documentation and chairing weekly excursion meetings
- Involvement in the training of production and laboratory employees
- Investigating EM non-reconciliations and excursions
- Facilitating laboratory QRM projects and leading on projects as required
- Releasing and ordering stock for the laboratory on SAP
- Participating in internal audits
Skills and experience:
- Degree or equivalent in Microbiology or a related science or relevant experience
- Previous experience in a pharmaceutical microbiology laboratory is essential
