Software Engineer - Python, Angular, RESTful API, jQuery, SQL, T-SQL, Insurance - London

£60,000 - £65,000

A well-respected global Insurer is searching for a Full Stack Developer to join their technology function based out of their London office. The department has set up several agile squads to deliver against the business' new application requirements across their actuarial, claims and enterprise risk functions and are now looking for an experienced developer to join them.

Key Responsibilities

• You will be required to design and develop full-stack scalable solutions to enhance user experiences and drive business growth.
• You will be required to maintain features and infrastructure to support evolving business needs whilst ensuring high code quality and application performance.
• You will collaborate with teams to troubleshoot, resolve issues and implement improvements.
• You will support and maintain existing applications, adhering to company standards and agile best practises.

Essential Experience

• You will need advanced experience in Angular, jQuery, Python & C# and proven experience of improving Legacy applications and developing new ones.
• Skilled in designing and integrating RESTful APIs coupled with a strong knowledge of SQL Server and T-SQL.

Desirable Experience

• If you have any experience working within (Re)Insurance or exposure management, that would be highly beneficial but is not required.
• Any knowledge of third-party catastrophe API's such as AIR Touchstone, RMS or Analyze Re.
• Any cloud platform experience (Azure/AWS/GCP) would be beneficial to this.
