You will be working for a further education provider in Ambleside that is located on the most beautiful world heritage site! They have exciting and unique facilities on site, including a bouldering wall, impressive science labs, and an equipment hire department for hiking, mountaineering, sailing, kayaking, canoeing, and climbing.Your new role
This 2 year fixed term contract takes responsibility for carrying out remedial actions as identified by risk assessments and surveys under fire management.
This is a demand-led, multi-skilled role; evaluating and resolving actions in relation to fire safety including the repair of fire doors and completion of compartmentation remedials. This role may suit a qualified joiner, or you may be NVQ Level 3 qualified in another building maintenance trade with a willingness to undertake approved UK Fire Door Maintenance training. You will be capable of ensuring safe working practices in compliance with safety regulations including the maintenance and testing of fire safety systems and appropriate record keeping.
What you'll need to succeed
This role may suit a qualified joiner, or you may be NVQ Level 3 qualified in another building maintenance trade with a willingness to undertake approved UK Fire Door Maintenance training.
What you'll get in return
35 hours per week- 2 year fixed term contract
£25,138- £28,759
