Overview: In this pivotal role, you'll collaborate closely with our valued investment banking client, leveraging your expertise to drive excellence in financial reporting and analysis.

As a Product Controller at Emagine, your responsibilities will include:

  • Accurately reporting daily Profit & Loss (P&L) to the Front Office (FO) and reconciling between P&L tools and management reporting tools, ensuring transparency and reliability in financial data.

  • Providing strategic guidance to our clients' Middle Office project team, optimizing end-of-day and intra-day data feeds to enhance operational efficiency and effectiveness, and actively participating in intra-day transformation initiatives.

  • Ensuring precise reporting of relevant P&L and Balance Sheet positions at month ends, conducting thorough reconciliations, and swiftly resolving any discrepancies to maintain financial integrity.

  • Delivering insightful commentary on P&L fluctuations and conducting comprehensive variance investigations, empowering Front Office traders and senior finance managers with actionable insights.

  • Offering strategic advice on the P&L impact of trades and the interaction between Front and Back Office systems, guiding our clients through evolving market dynamics and proposed workflows.

  • Upholding strict adherence to applicable accounting standards governing P&L and Balance Sheet reporting, ensuring compliance and integrity in financial practices.
