As a member of Population Statistics, you will be part of a team responsible for the delivery of producing Population and Migration statistics and/or methods

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Assisting in the development of team products and processes.

Working with team members and other PSD teams to investigate data trends and data quality issues.

Use own initiative to suggest ideas to make improvements to processes.

Undertake learning and development related to your role and personal development.

Work towards one corporate objective, eg, people committee, MS Teams champion, quality champion etc

Developing documentation and QA logs to maintain quality standards and facilitate training.

Recognise opportunities to learn from related projects

SKILLS/EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

Use statistical and analytical coding techniques.

Follow statistical protocols

Communicates written and oral information clearly

Able to summarise and interpret information accurately

Experience of a coding language, ideally Python, or willingness to learn.

Meets GSR or GSG criteria.

Quantitative analysis experience.#8239;#8239;

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Ability to work independently

Able to seek advice and guidance from managers and wider stakeholders as necessary.

Knowledge and experience using R and/or Python
