DevOps Engineer - SC Cleared

Whitehall Resources require a DevOps Engineer with active Security Clearance to work with a key client on a 12 month contract.

*This role will involve on site work in either Bristol or London 1-2 days per week.

*The successful candidate will be required to operate through an FCSA accredited umbrella company.

Job Description:
Key Skills:
. Predominantly (but not exclusively) working on AWS
. Extensive use of Kubernetes and Docker, including Openshift
. Extensive experience of Gitlab/Github for source control
. Good understanding of CI/CD's role in delivering software is more important than specific tooling - given we're having to adapt traditional develop low/deploy high approaches to fit our classified integration and deployment needs
. Extensive experience of Linux, including Scripting, etc.

Nice to have:
. Experience of deploying to Azure
. Knowledge of classified working practices/risk appetite/policies in classified environment
. We're working across security domains, so any knowledge of cross domain solutions or air gapped is a plus
. AWS as initial hosting provider
. Containerised apps using Docker and Kubernetes
. Apache Jena
. Elastic
. PostGIS
. Kafka
. Apache NiFi
. AWS Cognito
. HTTP REST, GraphQL, SPARQL interfaces
. Web apps based on HTML/CSS/Javascript frameworks such as React

The team is small and directly exposed to client stakeholders of varying technical knowledge so strong communication skills are essential
